This is SO good and so easy! I did a dry rub and then added the white bbq sauce since I didn’t want the sauce to burn before the chicken would be completely cooked through. So that means grilling the chicken ‘almost’ all the way (75/80 percent) before slapping on the sauce! Uhmm-yummm! You don’t have to make your rub spicy or you can make it super spicy and hot – if you like. I have kids, well one, that eats what I eat [you all know the story.of.my.life *lol*] and I just wanted to make sure there would be no reason for either of us to not enjoy. So, feel free to add spicier items or use in-place of what I have. I hate doing that in the recipe section as it adds a lot of stuff and makes it seem to have too much; so I may not do this time and if you have questions, please feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to answer. I can tell you this white sauce is delicious in grilled chicken (salad) instead of using plain mayo. It turns it up a notch. So many extra ways to try and use it. Experiment but do know that some have said it’s not that great with beef (I couldn’t tell you as I don’t eat a lot of beef but based on the taste of it I tend to lean into that feeling). Anyway, y’all enjoy!
PS: I used six (6) chicken legs and six (6) chicken thighs … all with the skin on and if the thighs had a bone-in that was just fine, as no need to be boneless. Although using with boneless (skinless) chicken breasts would be fine and dandy too.
