Colors can evoke such emotion in one don’t you think? I have loved aqua, teal and turquoise for many years now and it is quite apparent since you will find these colors in pretty much every room in our house! I was curious about the difference between the three as they can be mistaken for each other sometimes so here is a color chart. These colors can be used in just about any style home but it does remind you a bit of mid-century design. If you wanted Mad Men you know what I mean! You will find these colors in pretty much all the decor throughout the series. What is one of your favorite colors to design with in your home? Here are some ideas to try out. Happy Decorating!

When I came across this aqua glass backsplash I immediately fell in love with the style and color. I think it is important to follow your gut when choosing colors for your home but it is always good to get second opinions when it comes to projects that are more permanent! I asked two interior decorator friends about this backsplash and they both gave it a thumbs up.
