I honestly love pumpkin season, the smells and the flavors. This cute pumpkin succulent arrangement immediately turns your house into fall season. It also makes a great gift. As soon as the pumpkin starts to rot, simply plant it in your garden. If you need to pot it, just gently pull of the succulents and plant them in your favorite pot.
I like to have a selection of different succulents. Definitely look for the little baby flower like succulents but also look for longer ‘flatter’ plants. Spread them out and sort them so you can clearly see what you have.
I use moss and tacky glue for my first layer on top of my pumpkin. Let it dry.
Next up is the succulents. The longer flatter plants will go in a circle form using a glue gun so stick them to the pumpkin and moss.
When I have filled in the first layer on top of the moss I can start adding the fuller, higher flower like succulents. I keep going until I don’t see any open spaces.
These make great gifts that will keep forever. Remember you can plant them in your garden as soon as the pumpkin starts to get moldy or rotten.
Love how they look on my dining room table.
